“I was really happy the way our guys came out tonight. We jumped out to an early lead, but you have to give credit to Ben Logan. They’re a resilient group of kids and they fought their way back. Their defensive pressure really began to affect us later in the first quarter, especially some of our younger guys. I said earlier in the week that the game would boil down to turnovers and rebounding. I thought that we really did rebound well, both offensively and defensively, but we had 22 turnovers that led to a lot of easy transition points for Ben Logan,’ Riverside coach Seth Bodenmiller said. “Even though the outcome of the game wasn’t in our favor, I think that our coaching staff saw a lot of positive things tonight and that we will be able to use this game as a stepping stone moving forward. I think that tomorrow’s match-up with Triad will be very competitive and the team that executes down the stretch will be the one that comes out on top.”
