Perry forced Fort Recovery into 26 turnovers during a 54-45 win for the Commodores.
Matt Tabler’s squad was led by Kobe Glover’s 21 point, 6 rebound performance. Orion Monford and Jakoby Lane-Harvey each chipped in 10 points in the win.
Fort Recovery was led by Caleb Martin, who scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Micaiah Cox scored a team-high 15 points and snagged 7 rebounds, while Matt Bihn scored 11 points in the loss.
Perry (22-3) advances to the Division IV Kettering Regional, where they’ll face Fort Loramie Tuesday at 5:30 PM. Fort Recovery ends their season at 17-8.
Fort Loramie 68, Lockland 42
Fort Loramie got quite the shock earlier this week, when Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy, their original opponent in the District Final, was forced to forfeit their victory over Lockland.
Lockland got quite the shock Friday when the Redskins jumped out to a 20-5 lead after just one quarter en route to a 68-42 victory.
Dillon Braun led the way with a game-high 19 points. He also grabbed 7 rebounds in the win. Tyler Siegel scored 17 points and snagged 9 rebounds, while Austin Siegel chipped in 11 points.
The Redskins out rebounded Lockland by a 44-27 margin.
Fort Loramie, now 21-5, advances to the Division IV Kettering Regional, where they’ll face Perry Tuesday at 5:30 PM.
Tri-Village 38, Jackson Center 33 OT
Jackson Center and Tri-Village struggled to score in the Division IV District Final Friday.
But the Patriots outscored Jackson Center 9-4 in the overtime period to leave the University of Dayton with a 38-33 victory.
Brady Wildermuth ended his stellar high school career with a 13 point, 11 rebound performance. Gavin Booser chipped in 9 points in the loss.
Tri-Village was led by Gavin Richards, who scored 12 points in the win.
Tri-Village advances to the Division IV Kettering Regional, while Jackson Center ends their season with an 18-7 record.
Delphos St. John’s 48, Crestview 36
Delphos St. John’s and Crestview slugged through a tight contest at the Elida Fieldhouse before the Blue Jays pulled away in the late stages, grabbing a 48-36 victory.
Owen Rode led the way for the Blue Jays, scoring 17 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Timothy Kreeger scored 14 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists in the win.
With the win, the Blue Jays, now 19-4, advance to the Division IV Bowling Green Regional, where they’ll play Holgate. The Tigers beat Ayersville 46-40 in the District Final at Napoleon.
Crestview ends their season at 17-7.
