Liberty-Benton used big nights from a freshman and a senior to grab a 72-63 win over Hopewell-Loudon.
Freshman Schy Shepherd knocked down 4 three-pointers en route to a 20 point night, while senior Jensen Hiegel scored 17 points. Hiegel made 9 of 12 from the charity stripe. Sydney Lasiter (12 points) and Caitlin Elseser (11 points) also scored double figures.
Hopewell-Loudon’s Alexis Feindel (19 points) knocked down 8 three-pointers in the loss. Kendlee Siebenaller also scored 17 for the Lady Chieftains.
Upper Scioto Valley 60, Lehman Catholic 29
Upper Scioto Valley’s stifling defense forced 17 Lehman Catholic turnovers, and held the Cavaliers to 32% (12-37) from the field in their 60-29 victory.
The Lady Rams were led by Emily Patton’s 25 points and 8 rebounds. Kaycee Carroll chipped in 14 points for USV, who moves to 11-2 on the season, and 4-0 in the NWCC with the win.
Lehman Catholic drops to 5-9.
Bluffton 55, Paulding 42
Bluffton outscored Paulding 20-7 in the final quarter to grab a 55-42 win.
The Lady Pirates were paced by Averey Rumer’s game-high 15 points. Alivia Koenig (13 points) and Abbie Parkins (12 points) joined Rumer in double-digits.
Faith Vogel’s 14 points led Paulding, while Sydney McCullough poured in 13 points.

Minster stayed unbeaten with a big 49-18 win over New Bremen.

Jane Homan and Kayla Bergman both scored 5 points for New Bremen.

Hardin Northern 72, Perry 29
Ashton Dye and Holly Wilson both produced huge offensive outbursts in Hardin Northern’s 72-29 win over Perry.
Dye scored a season-high 31 points, and grabbed 6 rebounds in the win. Wilson scored 21 points and snagged 8 rebounds for the 6-9 (1-3 in NWCC) Lady Polar Bears. Hardin Northern shot 63% (29-46) from the field in the win.
E’Nautica Crockett and Tia Barfield each scored 9 points for Perry, who falls to 1-12 (1-4 in NWCC).
