Minster outscored Kalida 30-18 in the 2nd half to cruise to a 51-36 victory.
The Auglaize County Wildcats forced 25 turnovers and shot 36% (17-47) from the field in the win. Freshman Ivy Wolf led the way, scoring 19 points, while Demaris Wolf scored 12 points.
Kalida was led by Sarah Klausing who scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Kalida out rebounded Minster by a 29-24 margin.
Minster was 77% (14-18) from the free-throw line in the win.
Arlington 47, Allen East 35
Jenna Pepple’s 15-point performance led Arlington a 47-35 win over Allen East in the McDonald’s Holiday Tournament at Bluffton.
Maria Crawford chipped in 14 points, with 7 of them coming in the 3rd quarter as the Lady Red Devils move to 1-0.
Tori Newland paced the Lady Mustangs with 14 points and 17 rebounds, while Lauren Criblez chipped in 10 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
Bluffton 55, Cory-Rawson 26
Bluffton’s balanced scoring attack led them to a 55-26 win over rival Cory-Rawson Friday.
Katie Prater (15 points), Alivia Koenig (14 points), and Libby Schaadt (13 points) each hit double figures for the Lady Pirates. Avery Rumer scored 3 points, but pulled in 6 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists in the win.
Spencerville 66, Hardin Northern 36
Ashton Dye scored 24 of Hardin Northern’s 36 points as the Lady Polar Bears fell 66-36 at the hands of Spencerville. Dye also grabbed 8 of Hardin Northern’s 19 rebounds in the loss.
Jenna Henline led the way for the Lady Bearcats, scoring 13 points. Nelaya Burden (12 points), Alex Carter (10 points), and Kaiden Grigsby (10 points) also hit double-digits for Spencerville.
