USV and the lady Rockets were all knotted up at 17 at the half – after that it was all the lady Rams as they beat PG going away.
The lady Rams were led by Emily Patton who scored a game high 20 points in the win. Alyssa Miller and Kacee Carroll both joined Patton in double figures by scoring 13 and 11 points respectively.
After a good start the lady Rockets found it difficult to find the bottom of the net and also couldn’t figure out how to stop USV’s three headed attack. PG was led by Alexa Maag and Kelsey Basinger with 11 and 10 points in the contest. The loss drops the Lady Rockets to 13-6 on the season.
Leipsic 39, Kalida 26
Mindy Ellerbrock led the lady Vikings in scoring with 11 points. Kierra Woods was the star of the game though – Woods scored 10 points, brought down 6 rebounds, had four steals, and even found time top dish out a pair of assists in the Leipsic’s win Saturday.
Kalida struggled mightily scoring just 26 points in the game. The lady Cats were led by Sarah Klausing with 11 points, which accounted for nearly half her team’s points. Inn addition to her 11 points, she just missed out on the double, double by pulling down nine boards. Lauren Langhals did her best to help Klausing to get a win with seven points and four rebounds.
Coldwater 45, Fort Recovery 40
Coldwater beat Fort Recovery 45-40 in a game that saw 8 lead changes Saturday.
The Lady Cavaliers were led by Olivia Harlamert’s 15 points. Kourtney Diller chipped in 10 points in the win.
Grace Thein led Fort Recovery with 12 points in the loss.
