Upper Scioto Valley 62, Riverside 27
The Lady Rams routed Riverside Thursday night thanks to a fast start that saw USV ahead 15-6 after the first quarter. Things just snowballed from there as the Lady Rams were led by Shelby Spradlin with 16 points in the game. Emily Patton joined Spradlin in double figure with 15 points. USV moves to 14-3, 6-0 on the season and have clinched the NWCC championship.
Coldwater 60, New Bremen 37
Courtney Diller nailed five three point shots along the way towards her game high of 21 points as the Lady Cavaliers beat rival New Bremen by 23 points Thursday night. Olivia Harlament added 11 points to help Coldwater in the win.
The Cardinals were led by Jane Homan with her 12 points in the losing cause. Aside from Homan New Bremen struggled getting anyone going offensively as Macy Puthoff was their next leading scorer with seven points.
Kalida 43, Fort Jennings 34
Sarah Klausing led all scorers with 24 points as her Wildcats jumped all over Jennings early in the game leading 15-4 after the first quarter. Klausing pulled a double, double Thursday as she added 12 boards to her point total.
Vanessa Wallenhorst led Fort Jennings with 10 points on the evening. Excluding the first quarter Fort Jennings outscored the Wildcats Thursday night, but their slow start was too much to overcome.
