Continental 47, Fort Jennings 42 OT
Amber Logan’s 25 points led Continental’s come from behind victory over Fort Jennings in the sectional tournament at Paulding.
The Lady Pirates trailed 32-27 after three quarters before outscoring Fort Jennings 20-10 over the fourth quarter and overtime periods.
The Lady Musketeers were led by Abby VonSossan, who scored 13 points, including three three-pointers. Marissa Krietemeyer chipped in 11 points in the loss.
Continental (3-20) moves on to face #1-seeded Ottoville Saturday at 6:15 PM at Paulding. Fort Jennings ends their season at 1-22.
Arlington 97, Cory-Rawson 20
Arlington finished with five players in double figures in their 97-20 win over Cory-Rawson.
The Lady Red Devils were led by Whitney Dodds, who scored a game-high 19 points. Sierra Nichols (16 points), Jayme Webb (12 points), Morgan Smith (11 points), and Hannah Willow (10 points and 11 rebounds) joined Dodds in double digits.
Arlington dominated the Lady Hornets on the boards, out rebounding them 46-10. The Lady Hornets turned the ball over 29 times in the loss.
Brittney Roth’s 9 points led the way for Cory-Rawson.
Arlington moves on to play #10-seeded Miller City on Saturday at 6:15 PM at Bluffton. Cory-Rawson finishes their season at 0-23.
Upper Scioto Valley 75, Perry 18
Upper Scioto Valley jumped out to a 28-2 lead after the first quarter, cruising the rest of the way in their 75-18 rout of Perry.
The Lady Rams were led by Emily Patton’s outstanding performance. Patton finished with 22 points, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, and 8 steals. Alyssa Miller (16 points), Kaycee Carroll (14 points), Haley Hunsicker (11 points), and Shelby Spradlin (10 points and 10 assists) joined Patton in double figures.
Upper Scioto Valley shot 62% (31-50) from the floor in the win.
The Lady Rams move on to play #5-seeded Crestview in the Sectional Final Saturday at 6:15 PM at Allen East. Perry finishes the season at 3-20.
St. Henry 65, Van Buren 36
Danielle Lange and Nikki Keller each scored 16 points in St. Henry’s 65-36 win over Van Buren.
Allison Siefring chipped in 12 points for the 10-13 Lady Redskins. St. Henry moves on to face #3-seeded Liberty-Benton in the Sectional Final Saturday at 6:15 PM at Wapak.
Lydia Reineke led the Lady Black Knights (3-20) with 11 points in the loss.
