Ottoville’s Brendan Siefker has been named a finalist for the Wendy’s High School Heisman.
Siefker, who finished 2nd in Division III for the second straight year at the State Cross Country Meet last weekend, has won at least a $5,000 scholarship. The Wendy’s High School Heisman will be awarded on December 8th in New York City, and the winners will be broadcast during High School Heisman Award Ceremony on December 10th on ESPN2.
One boy and one girl will be selected from the pool of finalists to each win a $10,000 scholarship.
The Wendy’s High School Heisman is awarded to high school students with at least 3.0 GPA, participate in one high school sport, and have exhibited volunteer service or community involvement.
