Lima Central Catholic visits Allen East in Key NWC Showdown

It is a big Northwest Conference (NWC) clash this evening on Lima’s Sports Radio 93.1 The Fan as the Thunderbirds of Lima Central Catholic (LCC) will travel to take on the Allen East Mustangs! Both teams are coming off tight victories and will be looking to build momentum as they battle for position in the conference standings.

LCC (8-6 overall, 2-2 NWC) enters the game riding a wave of confidence after edging out Elida 48-45 in their last outing. Jordan Priddy led the Thunderbirds with a stellar 26-point performance, guiding the team to its second straight victory. After a season of ups and downs, the Thunderbirds have found some consistency, and they will look to continue their strong play on the road against a tough conference rival.

Allen East (7-7 overall, 1-2 NWC) also comes into the matchup with renewed energy following a nail-biting 49-48 win over Van Buren. The victory snapped a five-game losing streak for the Mustangs, offering a much-needed spark as they aim to regain their early-season form. Ethan Young and Logan Helser paced the team with 10 points each in the win, as Allen East leaned on balanced scoring and gritty defense to close out the game.
